Swimming Teacher Level 2
Grade: Unqualified Teacher Pay Scale Point 2 + SEN Allowance+ Nominated First Aider Allowance
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and highly motivated Swimming Teacher to engage and inspire learners with SEN through high expectations and accessible teaching methods. We are seeking a candidate who is committed to maintaining and developing their expertise in supporting children and young people to develop their swimming skills and physical strength, coordination and exercise. The school hydrotherapy swimming pool provides timetabled swimming sessions to school students during the school day and after school sessions for children and young people with additional needs who attend other schools in Havering.
The post holder will be required to carry out the professional duties of a teacher as set out in the current edition of the School Teacher’s Pay and Conditions Document. You should be willing to apply an analytical approach to monitoring progress of students through personalised and innovative teaching and learning. You will be excited and enthusiastic about developing individualised teaching and learning to maximise motivation and engagement to achieve positive outcomes for every learner. Job share arrangements will be considered.
