Curriculum | History

The past influences all aspects of life. Learning about the past helps us to make sense of the world in which we live. Every subject has an historical dimension. The study of history therefore enriches the whole curriculum.

The concept of the past though is a challenging one for many of our children and young people. Sensitivity and care will be employed in ensuring that our pupils have learning opportunities which they can benefit from and to facilitiate the maximisation of their opportunity to gain a sense of 'before'.
