Corbets Tey School

I had a 38 year career as a qualified accountant (FCCA) and held various finance roles in the electricity, retail, professional services and financial services sectors. I have now retired from full time work.

For the last 25 years of my career I worked at The Bank of New York. I held several senior finance positions, managing global finance teams for non US lines of business.

I currently live in Upminster and attended school myself in Havering. I have 2 grown up daughters who both attended Hall Mead school in Upminster. One of my daughters is a Primary School teacher in Hornchurch and my other daughter works in Fund Management.

My connection to Corbets Tey school is that both my wife and daughter have worked at the school in the past.

I am very interested in schools and education. In addition to my Governor role here I am a Trustee of a local independent school, St Marys Hare Park in Gidea Park.
